Crude rears on Israel-Iran tensions

LONDON, Feb. 16 (Reuters) - Taking forward for oil prices after the Israeli foreign minister hinted that Israel might react to the fact that two Iranian warships are heading to the Suez Canal, which are in Syria.

The March crude oil futures rises by 1.4 dollars to 85.68 U.S. dollars a barrel to around 18. The derivative Brent gained $ 2.4 to $ 104.10.

"This evening, two Iranian warships plan to cross the Suez Canal and head for the Mediterranean Sea in Syria, which has not happened for years, "said Foreign Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
