What To Say When You Get An Award

"Yes ... No Travel It's never too early to become responsible tourists "

be held tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 9:00 am, the premises of the children's section of the Municipal Library Quarantotti Gambini, the second of the ten laboratories titled" Yes Travel .. . It's never too early to become responsible tourists, "starring which will see pupils in the class III C Primary School "Biagio Marin" in Trieste.
proposed and taken by Dr. Stefano De Franceschi professional journalist / videoreporter, RTV Koper author of dozens of travel reportage in over 70 countries of the world, laboratories, funded by the Culture of the Municipality of Trieste are dedicated to students of all classes of primary and secondary schools who, through their teachers, want to join, and are the result of the encounter and collaboration between the Dr. Carmela Apuzzo, head of the Public Library, the Professor Antonella Farina, head of the provincial project "Born to Read" and Professor Pina Pilcher, vice-president of ICEI, Institute for International Economic Cooperation of Milan.

This is a pilot project leading national on a theme, that of RESPONSIBLE TOURISM , which is becoming more and more attention not only media but also the institutions, since the 'travel industry is now the second largest worldwide in terms of product, but it is certainly one that involves the largest absolute number of people and has a number of implications and consequences in all areas: social, environmental, cultural, economic .. .
For this reason it is important to begin right now to educate those who are tourists travelers or tomorrow, so that now grow and develop in them the idea of \u200b\u200bmoving responsibility and sustainable in any context. Thirty years ago, talk about ecology in school meant being at the forefront but now it's obvious to organize classes in the collection. Well, speaking of Sustainable Tourism in schools today, it may seem premature but it is in schools that must educate tomorrow's citizens and travelers.
In this sense, the public library lends Quarantotti Gambini:
- on the one hand, as a physical ideal for the various laboratories, as an area "free" outside the school environment itself, offering different ideas from starting point o su cui muoversi: libri, immagini, illustrazioni, giochi.
